we are looking for a 4 man tent that we can stnd up in i am 5.6 my other half is smaller, we need sig and not too dear we was looking at spending about £90 we would look at 2nd hand if good value, we was looking at Vango icarus 400. what do you think. any help would be great. it would only be used on a weekend as we have a Gelert Zenith 6 for longer breaks.

I'd second the Kampa Bude 4 as a good tent, but double your budget at £199. Well worth it though!! The flysheet is extra quality (and reputedly outlasts most other makes in outdoor displays) and 4000HH. It has full stand-up height, sewn in ground sheet and many other top quality features, but quick to pitch and compact. May be worth considering if you can stretch to it. We have just put in an advance order for one - due out mid-March:
The Icarus 500 is popular though and selling fast. I don't know about the 400.
You won't be able to stand up in an Icarus 400...I'm only 5ft 2 and could only just stand up if I pushed my head into the material, I think if you were 5ft you'd get away with it..lol. This is the very reason my friend bought the 500.
