This is being offered on my local freecycle. What on earth could it be?

I have a large (4 or 5) old style canvas tent on offer. It is very heavy and will require an inflatable pump to blow it up. It is hard work to get this tent up but well worth it as it looks similar to a tipi when up and is quite spacious

I think you should ask for it and pitch it, take photo's for all us to see and then you can freecycle it again afterwards (or woudl that be beign really cheeky??)

A free Karsten? Sounds unlikey but ya never know.

Anyone know of any other old tents that need inflating?

They said it is hard work, maybe if you use a bicylcle pump but not if you have a proper leccy Karsten pump :)

Someone has to go get it and see if it really is a Karsten. Even an old one is worth quite some. Not cheap tents but bloody gorgeous :)

Sounds like an igloo tent, 1970 precursor to the karsten worth having if in good condition.

Could be even older - I'm sure I saw a pneumatic tent which I think was called an Igloo in use in 1965.
