Hi Campers,

Is a Sealed Ground Sheet (SGS) system, the same as a Sewn in Groundsheet (SIG)?

Or is there a difference?

Yes it is the same thing, different manufacturers sometimes have their own way of describing a SIG to make it sound superior to other makes of tent.

There are also tents with a ZIG (zipped in groundsheet). Same principle as a SIG but obviously with a zip so they can be removed in hot weather, for cleaning etc
