Hi Merry,

I have to agree with you, of all the tents we have, the Pacific is our all time favourite. So easy to put up and the poles are so light.  I just wish it had the canopy of the Adventure, I keep thinking I will get in touch with TVS to see if they can make me one.

I wouldn't like a tent without a window either.  We do have a Cabanon dome tent which we do use and that doesn't have a window and its a bit claustrophobic, that's its only fault.

My take on why the little cabanons are more expensive than the big ones, this site has converted everybody to Cabanon Frames and they now all have a big six berth or similar and they are now all in the market for a smaller lighter weight weekender

PS I have even contemplated investigating whether there is a company which could put a second window into the front of my Pacific. Lol.
If only......my Cabanon Protecta has a small window next to the door, it far to small to cook in,but has the kitchen `window` at the back, it`l be great with another window

It's pronounced as it looks Cab-a-non, hard to explain when writing it isn;t it  But it's more like yours than your friends. Just think French when you say it! .

It's now got me thinking about the Dutch tents - do any of them have linigs?

Which ones?
The De Waards have small zipped openings below the pegging skirt for ventilation.
The Karstens have a similar type of thing.
My Esvo, the front quarters roll back and have mozzie netting for ventilation.
From what I know of Cabanons some have pvc roof's?
If so it is a big heat magnet....could also be as has said in a previous post the linings disguise the frame?
Pyramids have few poles an karstens even less.

Trio trinidad(died)/ Bispace400(still going strong15 yrs later) /ESVO Walnoot(had to surrender) / Cabanon Latitude(dead after the first outing). Vango illusion 500xl tc.
