what type of tent are you trying to waterproof ?

one of the best products and the only one i would use on my canvas tents is Grangers Fabsil   

not sure i would use it on a synthetic tent but many do

nikwax solarproof is good,I've used it on tents and backpacks.

friends of ours had a nightmare holiday it rained that much and soaked through to there bedroom pods dripped on all beds etc
      And 3 weeks later before erecting the tent in wales we attacked it with 2 cans of Fabisil and just 40 minutes later we had a storm for 2 hours and not a leak anywhere.
Just to add it was a polester tent.
none of us could believe it
