Hi, we are looking for a new tent will be buying in the next week or so and have decided after much deliberation to go for a Wynnster perpignan 8. It is everything we were looking for and wynnster seem to get a good reputation, however the tent is new this season and as such is untried and untested, would you be comfortable buying a tent no-one has tried out yet??
I am prob being a bit paranoid but been waiting over a year now to get a new tent (hubby got made redundant just before camping season last year and only back at work now) that I just want to make sure I wont regret my decision.

Well, somebody has to be the guinea pig. Just think...you could be the first person in the whole wide world to give a review on the tent.
Wynnster do have a good reputation so I wouldn't hesitate to buy a new tent if I wanted one. Most manufacturers don't alter the designs too much year by year if they are successful, so look for similar tents for previous years and see what the reviews say about those.
Hi, there is a good review in this months caravan club mag as mentioned by Hacksaw Bob. It states it's back under british ownership under parent company Khyam which is reassuring. The front pole(all steel) which shapes the canopy is colour coded but the others are identical. They have said it is light and airy and has a huge living area and most likely will need to be pitched on a jumbo pitch. The only other thing they say is that the groundsheet on the front door can be folded down to avoid tripping. The other point the mag states is that they will not be in showrooms as most sales are being done online. Normally it's good to read about the niggles of a tent but nothing has been mentioned here except that the 2 double bed spaces at each end are a bit cramped. Only other info is www.wynnster.com or khyam on 0800 644 4401. hope this helps
