Hi, does anyone know where I can obtain one of these??? This is an excellent tent that for some reason Outwell have discontinued, so looking for the extension is proving somewhat difficult, please help!

See here for a previous discussion of this regarding the Utah 6 and other extensions that would fit. The Dakota is basically the SIG, green version of the Utah, so if you don't mind non-matching colours one of these should do the trick?

Look at the Montana 6 front extension or awning. It looks like with a bit of fitting it would be about right for the larger entrance on the Dakota 6 say...

hi got a dakota 6 were in the same boat with the extension tried everywere has anybody tried the motana extension yet on the dakota if so or know of any other extension that fits please let me no and put me out of my missery thanks.

Hi, I've just had a look around on Ebay for what's currently available that looks to be broadly similar to the Utah extension we have (same dimensions as Dakota), these are:

Outwell Hartford

Outwell Montana and here and here

Sprayway Canopy and here and here

Also a couple of Vangos here and here

Easycamps too here and here

They aren't quite the same but are very similar if nothing else crops up...
