Wouldn't dream of swapping the polycotton to polyester!

What about getting a poly day tent/utility for the extra space?

Me neither....

There are some great Utility tents out there. When we take our smaller tent we use a tarp and keep all the kitchen stuff outside

Swapping a Bear Lake for a Florida?? That would have to be a big fat no from me. Why not buy the side extension for the Bear?? I have walked aroung the Florida, and you would be taking a huge step backwards IMO. Bit like swapping an Audi for a Lada!!!

I wouldn't go to polyester if it could be helped, depending on what you want the extra space for have you considered the new Montana awning on the front of the BL?

This is what I have bought for this year:

and here

Would cost around £199 which would be cheaper than buying a new tent - just a thought.

Have to agree with the rest and say don't do it.
Get the Monty canopy as per Woofers recommendation.

Don't do it, the heat and noise will drive you mad, you have been spoiled with your cotton but your decision of course.
