I have the cheaper version of the NL , the old style sunvalley8, (same style size and layout in synthetic)

A fantastic tent, well thought ot front porch with huge living room and decent size bedrooms. plenty of room for a family of 4 with dog.

We are a family of 4 DS14 and DD4 so they must have their own rooms, with two big dogs(Bullmastiffs) and there is plenty of room in it , so you won't struggle for space.

Its really easy to put up with three long alloy pole sections going over the top and one shorter section that goes over the top as well on the back over the bedroom pods , then you have two poles that go down each side. The inside has a zip in groundsheet (zig) like the Wolf Lake that you have seen.

As said on the other thread the only down sides are

Weight of the tent and pole bag

Size of both again , they take up a lot of packing space(no more than a Wolf Lake though)

The tent has now been discontinued so buy one that has all the bits with it , side extension if possible and the carpet , don't worry about the footprint as you can easily get a tarp to fit it.

The footprint for the Vermont L works very well with the NL.

Hi,

The NL is a great tent, just bear in mind it is very heavy and quite bulky. You will need quite a bit of space in your car for it.
