We currently have a Royal Seattle 4 bought it last year as we were new to camping, decided we loved camping and realised we needed a bigger tent for this year, there is only my husband and I but we also have 2 big dogs that we take with us so need more room.
We been down to go outdoors today (big mistake lol) and saw the Hi Gear Kalahari 10 on offer for £190 and loved it!
What do you all think of this tent and do you think it's a bit OTT for just the 2 of us with 2 dog's?
Thanks Nicola.

Hi Nicola , we went to Go Outdoors today just to confirm that we wanted the Kalihari 10 , after looking again at everything on display our thoughts were confirmed that this tent is.......great ! it has loads of room ,headroom throughout the whole tent is fantastic , now it is a BIG tent but my wife and the kids all gave it the thumbs up and we all agree this tent will offer everything we need and more ! even our springer spaniel Jake seemed to like it ....lol ....and at £190 for a tent this size you can't go wrong , we also bought the carpet , footprint and the porch......well pleased.
Hi Tommy and congrats on your new tent, it dose look like a lovely tent and I think we will get it I just hope people don't think we are mad getting such a big tent for just the 2 of us (and our dogs) lol.

Hello Booyaa , it is a biggish tent but that's the way i prefer tents , i like a bit of room so everyone has a space to chill out if they want to , it gives you plenty of options and the oppertunity to take another couple of family members if they want to come along , if it turns out to be a descent waterproof tent then i think it's a real bargin at £189
Nicola , if it's a good sized tent your looking for then go for it you won't regret it i don't think , and remember it's what makes you happy so don't worry what other people think about the size of the tent just enjoy your camping........i am going to
Nice one Nicola , i can't wait to get away in ours to see how it performs........the kids and my wife seem very happy with it so that's half the battle .......lol , they want me to book a weekend at Blair Atholl again ......they loved it up there !
Don't forget to take plenty of pictures on the first trip and even do a tent review for on here
HI there new to this site but i have the Kalahari 10 tent, i bought it last year from Go Outdoors. I have used it about 3 times so far and more recently last weekend. I have never had a problem with it and pitching is relatively easy. I'm a single mum and me & my 10 year old son can put this tent up in about 45 mins or so. I think i am now going to invest in the porch canopy and the carpet that goes with it. This tent is huge though and i have been advised by some sites that they will either charge extra for it or just won't accept it. I tent to just stay on the camping club sites or the type where you rent space from a farmer as we love to have a fire at night.
We have one and had no problems. There is a pic in my gallery. Maybe gonna sell it though as we now have a trailer tent. Plenty of room- I could park my car in the middle area- not that I would!
