Hi all, we have recently purchased a Hi-gear Caplan 5 and are wondering if there is any porch/extension/awning we could buy to add some additional space? we have asked at Go Outdoors where we bought the tent and as there isn't a specific porch made for our tent it was suggested that we possibly consider buying a Gazebo - what are your thoughts? many thanks Craig & Jennifer

Many sites have banned the use of gazebos as they have a nasty habit of becoming giant kites even if they appear to be well guyed down. They can cause a lot of damage.
If you search the Net for tents that are a similar size/shape to yours from manufactureres such as Vango, Gelert, Outwell etc... you may find one that would fit your tent.
The vango large canopy looks like it might fit okay . the dimensions of the caplan are similar to the vango canopy. caplan being 290 wide, canopy 310 wide .
Many thanks for your replies. Just to let you know we did buy the Vango sun canopy from Ebay and it worked a treat - thanks Debbie for the recommendation. Thanks also to Mrs Mickeyboyc for the link above.
Nicky and Charlie, our 2 lovely greyhounds, enjoyed laying in the sun canopy with a Go Outdoors stripy windbreak at the end to stop them escaping!
