Hi,

I'm looking for some advice. We are a family of 4 + dog and we've finally outgrown our 2 man tent (!) We are a bit skint we like the look of the Outwell Wyoming but at £250 it's more than we can afford.

I've seen an Outwell Vacanza at argos (Montreal 4 person) for £166 but can't find any reviews of it at all which makes me nervous. It's a slightly lower spec than most Outwells (2500mm and not 3000mm) but we are fair weather campers.

We've also considered the coleman coastline.http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-1428744-10294381?url=http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3402461/Trail/searchtext%3ETENT.htm#tab3

Any one any opinions?

Thanks
AmyM

That outwell looks like this one http://www.outwell.dk/TentMeasure.aspx?b=Outwell&bid=2&lid=1&l=en-GB&catID=552&TentId=1098&pid=1
not sure if the quality is going to be exactly the same however it looks like it would be perfect for your family if you are used to a 2 man tent!
You can always return it to Argos if you don't get on with it.
Real bargain for an outwell tent.

Thanks for the link, it does look very similar, perhaps as you say not quite as good quality. On our last trip the guy at the campsite couldn't stop laughing when he saw the size of our tent and the number of people in the car. Anything is going to be an improvement (!)

How about a vango icarus 600 ? Nice tent for the money and you can add on canopy when funds allow so adds a bit of flexibility as you need more space.

Thanks for the suggestion, but the vangos we looked at didn't have complete room dividers (they didn't zip at the bottom) and we don't trust the dog not to escape in the night (!)
