i think i am going to buy the Tigris 800....however i have found prices better online than my local stores...
my question is should i pay the extra to buy local in case i get a 'duff un' or go for the cheaper deals and cross my fingers..
i have found a couple of decent prices from...
Print off the pages from the two cheapest sites then ask your local store for a price match, or a package deal on any extras you may also want to buy like a canopy, carpet or footprint. This is accepted practice and most camping shops have a little bit of wiggle room in their prices, though they may not advertise it. Your local shop wants you to like them enough to come back to them...they don't make their main money on the tent, after all, but all the other stuff you buy there!
I just looked at Towsure's price for a Tigris 800......£290???? Bloomin' daylight robbery. Give them the chance to price match, sure, but walk away if they don't.

Go Outdoors do a price match with an extra 10% discount if you buy one of their cards for £4 first. Print off the cheapest you can find and pop to your local GO and rake in the ££££!!!!
