In addition to all the other equipment is a 4 person tent for £59.99.
Don't know what the quality will be like but for a 2 person tent (let's be honest, when you look at the dimensions you wouldn't want anymore than 2 in the tent)this might be OK for weekends/short breaks.
We took a punt on one of these tents last spring and we are glad that we did. This is an excellent tent for the money. We have used it on about 8 weekends so far, totalling about 20 nights, some of which in heavy rain, with no problems. It has a HH of 3000, and although dubious about the 'window' in the roof we have never got wet! As the ad says, it has two doors, one at each end, a side door would have been nice but there you go. It is standing height throughout - I am 6'2" and no problems, has one bedroom pod with a zippable divider, ample living space for a weekend for two people, comes with a repair kit of pole sections, guy ropes, elastic cord and patching material just in case. The only downside is the naf pegs, but most new tents suffer from that problem!! Added to all this a 3 year guarantee it is definately worth serious consideration.
Cheers
Pete

I looked at the pictures...it would benefit greatly from adding stormflaps in the living area (easy job) but there's been some quite positive reviews of Aldi tents in the past so it does seem to be a better buy than say the Halfords package.
Definitely 3000HH has a height of 185cm throughout and even a storage hanger thing between the bedroom doors. I didn't buy one but thought I'd better check lol.

We got 2 packs of floor mats for the porch on our Hartford XXL, preferable to a ground sheet IMHO. We wanted the rotary dryer too but they had sold out by 9am! I s'pose there'll be lots on ebay this weekend!
Got the airer and a self inlfating mat. Airer is really good for the price and already have other mats from there so know they are OK. Mustn't be a hotbed of camping round our area as they had quite a lot of stuff still left at 5:45 last night !!.
i didnt see any tents in my local store and they only had two clothes airers left, i got the kitchen stand and electric air pump x 2 one for my brother.

I got a tent this morning at the Loughborough Aldi - only two left in store now. I figured it was worth a try as a short weekender when it's just me and two little boys
