I am trying to choose a 4 man tent for short breaks with my 2 kids or 1 child and my partner. I already have an outdoor revolution scenic 7 for long hols and an outwell jersey s and m for overnights.

I am stuck between the outdoor revolution starcamper 4 and The sunncamp evolution 400.

The starcamper is slightly bigger and we know that the waterproofing is reliable having survived some serious weather in our family tent. But I just love the Evo and even have a porch that would fit on the side.

Oh somebody help me , I just can't choose, They are even the same price!!!

Oh no now I have found the outwell virginia 5 for £10 more. I love the 2 outwell jersey's that we have I think I have changed my mind again.

This is a nightmare, its like buses, you go ages without seeing a tent you like ,then 3 come at once.

I used to be indicisive but now i'm not really sure !!!

Let me throw another spanner in the works, VANGO ICARUS 500. Fantastic tent for long weekends, roomy, and only takes 10-15 minutes to put up. Good price too.

Happy choosing.

I' m afraid I have been seriously turned off vango, after I had an Idaho sieve that let me down badly at Guide camp last year. It took the whole of the summer to get my money back. So no more vango's for me.

Thanx for the reply anyway.

OK I think I've decided on the evolution. I really don't need a lot of space, I have 2 pop ups which can be used for overspill and will probably only use it for short breaks. I need it to be good in the wind as I seem to have developed a liking for cliff top campsites. LOL.

Am taking OH with me in the morning to see if he can stand up in the Evo if he can then thats what I will go for.
