Have been looking at this tent this morning, and am quite impressed. Have been looking at reviews mainly to see how this tent stand up to strong winds, but they seem to be a bit mixed. Had a bit of a disaster with our Rage (cheapy) tent at the weekend due to high winds at Filey, so we are looking to splash out a little bit on a better tent. Can anyone out there give me a bit more information about this tent or perhaps recommend another tent? Many thanks.

We bought the meridian 10 last year, its a great tent. Had the last pitch on merley court so our tent was on full view and quite a few peaple asked about it. As for strong winds, its was a little windy for us last year and the tent was ok. The only problem we had was you cant open the door in the rain or it will run in, this is down to the tunnel tent design. As for the quality, the tents seems ok we have pitched 5 or 6 times no problem at all. The bag the tent is supplied with is laughable, they must have vac packed it at the factory. If you do go for the meridian I strongly recomend adding the porch.
