I am looking for a footprint for my Vango Killington 900, but cannot find one.

Does anyone know of any for sale,or does anyone know if the Diablo 900 would do the same job.

Would be most grateful of any idea's

Buy a tarp from any DIY store and cut one to fit the tent, remembering to make it 1"-2" smaller all the way round than the tent footprint.

Hi. We got a Killington 900 footprint for our daughter's Diablo 600. This is almost identical to our Diablo 900. (except it doesn't have the back pod). We found that apart from this (obvious) difference, the bedroom pods on the Diablo are slightly shorter. In adition, the Killington footprint extends under the front porch area (which the Diablo one doesn't). Hope this is some help.

Pete

Hi Badboy. Got it from that well-known auction site. It was from a company in Glasgow which has regular auctions on there. But can't remember their name. I believe it's the company that sells off Vango bits and pieces.

Hi Pete,

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I cant find any on that well-known auction site. Did you get yours recently? Perhaps its hard to find because the Killington 900 is now discontinued.

Is it likely another 9-man footprint will do it?

Hi again. It was a few months ago we got ours and at that time they had several on sale. I think it'll be hard to get another type which will fit. However, it's not hard to improvise with tarpaulins from the local DIY shop. Just follow the advice from Helen above. As long as it doesn't stick out at the sides it'll be fine. And it'll probably be a heck of a lot cheaper.
I've just had a look on Ebay and he prices for footprints for discontinued tents seem to be rocketing. I've seen one for a Diablo 600 as much as £55 - and still rising.

Pete
