How hard can it be to find an extension for our Hartford?

We have the older model, 2007 I think and they're not made for them anymore as the model was updated in 2008.

Ebay have a few but as they''re like hens teeth the bidding's difficult and they are going for well over a £100.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where we might find one for sale, new or used in good condition?

Hi there....join the club!!! We are in exactly the same boat and i have been searching relentlessly for the last 2 weeks. The words "rocking horse" and....well you know the rest....come to mind lol !!!
We bought a brand new and unused 2007 xl a couple of weeks ago for a bargain price and have been looking ever since as the porch on the older model is much smaller than the newer gothic style porch. I assume like us you are looking for a little extra up front for a bit more space to cook/relax etc?
And we, like yourselves are not willing to pay over £100 for a tatty 3 year old version from Ebay !!!
Unfortunately i can tell you one thing....i have checked pretty much every uk camping store web site, asked at go outdoors, at yeomans, and outdoor focus and many others and have found NOTHING...Grrrrrr !!!
If i had known we would have had so much trouble finding a reasonably priced canopy before we bought the tent i may have put a bit extra and gone for the newer 2008 model as there seems to be an abundance of the canopys for that model.
That aside, apart from the inner first pitching style on the 07 model it is a much more sturdy and visually appealing tent than the newer model and the fixed pods are great and dont pull the tent out of shape like the detatchable one on the newer version (Hence us purchasing the 07)!!!
All i can say is to keep looking, hoping and praying that one comes up before your next trip...and best of luck in getting to it before i do !!! HAhahahahaha
