Ours arrived today and we opened it out on the lawn to check it. It's MAHOOSIVE! Now, we haven't put the tent up yet and were wondering does the carpet go all the way under the pods too? If it doesn't then we have made a really big mistake getting the Amazon as it is waaaay too big!

Yes it must be a massive tent we have the zanzibar 600 which is exactly the same as the amazon 600 but polycotton and this is huge, the carpet doesnt go under the pods in this, enjoy your beast.
Just had a practice pitch in a neighbour's garden and it's enormous! I think I need to contact the sites we've booked and advise them we're gonna need a bigger pitch after all!

Vango reckon 750 x 550 with the canopy, to us that's huuuuge!!! We had an Outwell Hartford XXL before which in theory IS bigger but the living space didn't seem that way at all. There's enough room for a kickabout in the living area of this beast! The problem with the outwell was the width, it's very wide when you take all the width from the furthest part of the pods into account.
Luckily East Fleet standard pitches are 800 x 600 so we are OK there, there's also 6m between so we still have space for the car and trailer behind the tent.
On the plus side, it only took the same time as the Icarus with canopy to put up.

We had a Wynnster Satellite 9 before (similar to the 3-pod Hartford, no porch). The footprint of which was something like 9m x 8m.
We got the Amazon after a very wet week, so the kids had room to play, and luckily we've not needed the space since!
