Hi guys,
I'm still trying to get myself sorted with a replacement tent and have been looking at a Sunncamp Kuro 500.
I am new to camping and have no idea on makes etc. I have been advised to stay away from cheapy tents but not sure which make is which so any advice is greatly appreciated!
I have looked at the reviews on here and there is only 2 for the tent so not much to go on!
Thanks, Louise

Our first tent was a Sunncamp APS 3006+ which was lovely. Godd quality, easy to erect, spacious bedroom pods, good iszed living area.
Only reason we now have the Khyam Ontario 8 is because the mice thought the Sunncamp was good too!!

We've got an Evolution 600 DL. Great tent, I'd have another Sunncamp, not that I'm looking.------------- Christine

It depends on what type of camping you're doing to be honest.
If you are camping in season, with family, on camp sites - then sunncamp is fine.
If you are camping in winter, on hillsides then no - sunncamp is not fine

I have Kuro 500 bought mine after spending a weekend in a friends. Its excellent tent very roomy stood up very well to winds and rain that weekend.------------- It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds for the opportunity to rain on a tent.

Hi all,
Just a quick update!
Went to Go outdoors for 15% off weekend and came back with a Vango Icarus 500 so am very happy :-)
We looked at the Hi Gear Voyager 6 and must admit we were very impressed with this one both on size and price... quality looked pretty good to me (novice camper) too but was sold out! In fact the shop was like a feeding frenzy with everyone grabbing stuff to take advantage of discounts!
We bought the very last Icarus 500 and after reading the reviews on here feel quite assured we've made a good choice plus if our camping hobby takes off we'll be able to add to it with matching canopy, carpets etc for future trips!
Thanks veryone for your help and advice.
