hi there i need an extension for our dakota 6 but has been discontinued :-( . does anybody no which extension would do the job . ive been trying to figure it out for ages now .i got intouch with outwell they told me too basicly work it out myself . please can someone put me out of my ongoing headache thanks.

The width of the side door to the Dakota 6 (which is where, I think, the dedicated extension went) is 240cm. This is identical to the width of the Idaho L and XL which unfortunately, are also discontinued. However, there may be extensions still available for them also and the setup around the door (poles, etc.) seems very similar to the Dakota's so the extensions will probably fit.
We are about to sell a whole Dakota 6 package, tent only been used for 4 nights camping, we have the Dakota extension which we bought last year, but has never been out of the bag or used, carpet and footprint. We have today bought a Outwell Nevada L instead, we loved the Dakota, but I was recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and found the steel poles too heavy for me when pitching.
We will be listing the pack on Ebay and on here as soon as we go get back from our holiday. Not sure if thats any help to you, but thought I would mention. Really gutted that we can't use the Dakota any more, although we only used it for two weekend breaks we loved the space.

Hi, you'll get more for it you split it up rather than sell as a package, especially if some of the items are discontinued. Might help pay for your replacement bits.

Hi, yes we would sell it seperately, it is brand new, never used.
We will be listing it on the classifieds on this site and also on an auction site.
