We have a khyam Colorado but after a recent camping trip we developed a problem with the front zip . We may get it repaired or thinking about buying new.
We are a family of 6 - soon to be 7 , like the space that the tunnel tents give - just wondered if anyone has any recommendations ? Prefer a sewn in groundsheeet as that is something the khyam lacks

Can't recommend the Coleman Coastline range enough after my recent purchase! I own the 6 berth, but they do an 8 berth too, and the space is enormous in all sizes for the berths...
weve got a gelert beyon corvus 6+2, its got a footprint of aprox 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 mtrs and is really roomy , deff recomend it, its also got a sig and a hh of 5000
Khyam Ontario 8 is a fabulous tent (not that I'm biased)
Because the bedrooms are a decent size it is a genuine 8 berth tent as it can accommodate 8 x 75cm wide airbeds rather than just those tiny little mats that some manufacturers base their pod sizes on!
You still have a really spacious living area (3.7m x 3.2m), standing height (225cm) including standing height in bedroom pods, SIG, good ventilation (we've never had a problem with condensation), large windows with curtains, cable entry points, groundsheet goes flat at the doors so no trip hazzard, door can be canopied out to form a sun porch, 5000HH rating, fits on a standard pitch (tent measures 7.5m x 3.7m)
You get a lot of tent for your money, plus you can buy sun porch and carpet to turn it into a real home from home.

Totally agree, we love our Gelert Corvus 6+ 2, love the layout of this tent, one large bedroom (4), two smaller ones (2 each) and a lovely big living area, get the porch and it gives you even more space.

Hi Gear Kalahari 10. On special this week for £200 at Go Outdoors, and when you purchase it the porch, footprint and carpet are half price. Super bargain.
Stick with Khyam and look at an Aspen, they're huge (8m x 4m) but you can pick them up brand new for change from £350. We have one as well as an old '02 XXL Ridgidome with Starship mileage on it, the Aspen is like a dancehall, there's only two of us but we love it. They come with three inners, ZIG, 11 windows 4 that zip open and two monster ones at the front.

My sister and BIL got an Easycamp Topeka. What can I say, the living area alone is the same size as my Vango Icarus, all of it - even the Icarus's bedrooms! I'm very impressed with her tent as with most outshot tents the bed pods are usually slanted so there's not much headroom. In the Easycamp the bed pods have good head height, especially the 'master bedroom'.
I love the head height which gives a good airy feel.

My suggestion would be go and see your local independent camping store and see them up. Any good camping store will give you unbiased help.
You can't pick a tent by asking a random tent question on here as all you will get a multitude of different answers from owners of said tents.
And if theres no tent places near to you then blame go outdoors and halfords and the many supermarkets for putting them out of business.
