Hi everyone, I am working on a new tv programme in Edinburgh and I'm trying to source a retro tent to use as a prop in the programme. The tent is to be from the 1970's or early 80's and should be a family sized tent or it could be smaller. The designer had an A frame/triangular shaped tent in mind. Would anyone have a tent from this period that I could purchase or hire for filming for two weeks from the end of September? Or can anyone advise as to where I might find one of these tents? The tent is to be put up in the back garden of a family home in Edinburgh.

What are you going to do with it ? Just as a prop showing the outside or are you going to show people sitting inside it too, or even actually camping in it? I live just outside Edinburgh and could ask around if I had a better idea of what you wanted.
Hi. Look for a Lichfield Challenger 5, it is a ridge tent with a retro look - I have one but you aren't getting it, it's precious to me. It's my profile pic. They do come up quite often for quite little money, I hear of people buying them for a fiver etc.
The Lichfield Palladin is the cotton version of it.
