Does anyone have the extension for the Outwell Nevada M Tent? I was wondering if it obstructs your views at all. The whole reason we got this tent was because we love the plastic going all the way down so we can see out over our lovely views (hopefully) so I was wondering if this is spoilt with the addition of the extension as it seems to block the view from the photos I have seen of it.
At a wapping £70 I want to be sure it is worth it so please can you tell me what you use it for if you have one.

I don't have this tent myself but most people get the extensions to have extra space, for cooking under, to sit outside but still under cover , and if the tent is a sloping fronted one, you dont get the rain getting inside the tent when you open the door.
Best bit of kit we have bought. Even better than the extension on our Monty 6. Far more room and the best place to sit and enjoy the outdoors whilst being sheltered from the breeze in the evenings. Get it!
TBH you dont get much of a view through the plastic windows anyway. They are always a bit too obscure and are more for letting the light in than looking out. Plus, if you are sitting out in the extension then you will have a far better view anyway.
We have a Nevada M and the front extension - and we lurve it! As beefysmum said, we use it to keep the stove, table, kettle etc in, for cooking and also for sitting in when it's a bit too nippy or drizzly to sit out. You can still see out of the tent windows, maybe not quite as well out of the front 'corner' ones but the extension itself has windows so you never feel closed in. It's absolutely fab if it's raining, you can strip your waterproofs off before you get in the tent and, again as beefysmum said, you can open the front door and leave it open to air, without getting rain in the tent and the Outwell doormat stays dry!
I'd upload a picture but I wouldn't know where to start, Photobucket and the like is a foreign language to me.(Dozy old duffer)

To be brief I can't imagine camping in the Nevada without one. Best "accessory" I ever bought.
You may be able to save a few quid on it if you use Go Outdoors price match as there are a few places that sell it cheaper than them (but you only save about a fiver).
I have just invested in a nevada m and extension as our weekend tent and about to road test it in a few hours (yay!). Husband was complaining that extension was not needed and "more hassle" to put up etc etc ...... but as always with camping kit I completely ignored him!!! I am fairly sure in 6 hours time when he is under it enjoying a beer or wine he will be singing its praises lol!
We are a family of 4 and went for the extension to give more space and store all the cooking bits and pieces in. I think we may be a bit more squished without it.
How did the weekend away go Pink Panther? We love our new tent and there is really so much light and view from it. However, it didn't' stand up too well to the weather conditions in Derbyshire and we now have some poles to replace.
