Hello guys!
I'm new to tenting and I've just picked up an Outwell Virginia 5 tent. One of the reasons we chose it was because the sleeping compartment was just as tall as the living space.
We got the tent out and put the poles together, just to check that they were OK (and they were - hurrah!).
However, when we read the instructions, they referred to 'colour-coded' poles and the shorter pole going at the back. But, none of the poles has any colour on it and all the poles are the same length(!)
We think that - from what we have seen of the tent in the showroom - the poles will probably fit the tent, because the tent looked the same height all the way along. But it is a bit disconcerting when the actual instructions say something completely different to what you have seen.
Am I right to be a bit paranoid - or should I just relax?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Lulu

Hello Lulu.
I always feel it's more useful when someone actually has the tent being queried, so I'm pleased to assist.
After practising, I'm able (on my own) to get it basically erected in about 15 minutes.
That is, ground sheet pegged, poles fitted, tent lifted (rear first), main guys pegged.
Tip! Before lifting, undo the velcro that secures the top rear guy line. Once it's up, it's awkward to get at.
Pegging, and adjusting the rest I can usually take more time over. BUT! I do peg ALL the guys.
Kind regards James
