Ok need some help here, just picked up 3 tents on ebay (1) 4x4m and (2) 5x5m all the same design made from cotton canvas with heavy full ZIG ground sheets. Now the person that has listed them is doing so for a friend who is not easily contactable and she is not a camper herself and is not too clued up on what they are all about, make etc.
Now looking at the picks I recon they where worth a punt as she thinks he purchased them while he was in Holland !!
So has anyone seen anything like them or does anyone know what they are or who make them as I am not collecting them until later in the week.
Sorry wasn't implying anything lol perhaps a different meaning to the term over there ??
Anyway thanks for taking a look and your ideas about what they may be. I have asked the woman who has the tents at the moment to have a look at the bags and to let me know if there are any labels on them that may give me a clue but as yet I have not had any emails back.
I will let you know what they are once I have them picked up though.
Thanks again
Gary

Well I dont know now 276 people looked on here and only a handful of ideas, thanks for the ideas though guys. I cant find anything like them so looks like im going to have to wait till Friday and hope for the best.
I have asked the woman that is looking after them if there is anything written on the bags but apparently there is nothing. My concern is that she does not have the space to pitch them as she lives in an apartment in central London so whilst they are cheep am I being daft here ?
They look good but I am starting to have second thoughts unless I can work something out that I can take them somewhere to pitch them first.

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes

You are getting 3 tents like the one in the picture for 100 quid right?
And the seller says there is nowhere to show you the tents as they live in a flat in central London ?
Ask the seller to go with you to the nearest carpark, park, or somewhere similar so you can at least unroll the canvas a bit and have a look for obvious mildew. And also have a quick peek at the state of the poles.
At that price surely they have to be worth a peek?
No that's just the way it worked out on that tent, the total price is £700 for the 3 I payed the buy it now price for 2 of £300 each and then got the 3rd discounted to £100.
If it where £100 for the 3 then I wouldnt be hesitant. I planned to keep one and sell the other two on next season with a few more pictures and a bit more detail, especially as it seems that next years colours from Outwell include Orange !!
