Hello - just bought a barbados and I have a question.

At the back of the inner tent once it's erected - I notice a pole clip, but there is no pole for it to clip into - what's it for?

(tent is ace by the way!)

thanks

BB

Hi - yes, on the back of the inner at ground level where the little duffel hook sits too.

very odd - can't think of a reason for it being there, unless person sewing it got confused and put one on each end?

cheers

PS - from where did you buy your carpet?

congratulations on buying a Barbados, we've got one and love it. We bought an Outwell Idaho XL carpet cheap and then cut it so have one bit for the living area and two bit for the bedrooms. It dosent fray when cut. Vals in the pic is also an Outwell carpet but cant remember which one.

Havent got a clue in answer to your original question, sorry.

I still want one too! lol

Especially after putting up that outwell we have just brought in the garden, by the time we had got it up, cut our fingers to bits with the plastic hooks and zipped the ground sheet in I was knackered!

Where did you buy it from Ben buckle?

Hi, we have a Barbados but there's no pole clip at the rear of the inner on ours. I wonder if it's been attached there in error?

no pole clip on mine either, it must have been a mistake.

i use my outwell montana carpet for my barbados, perfect fit but a little awkward getting it under the pole and then flat, not a one person job. but no cutting and i can use it in both of my tents.

barbados is my fave by far by the way.

Hello

I bought it on Ebay. (why do you ask?) I've seen them with online retailers as well, so they're available. Apart from the pole clip I've been talking about, it's great. Really looking forward to using it soon.

Will pop down to local Go Outdoors and take a look at the carpets.

cheers

Ben
