We got to the Swindon store at 0935. We weren't the first to arrive, I think we were the 5th car in the carpark? It was well below zero so we all sat in our cars with the heaters on, until one brave woman got out of the car at 0948 and stood at the doors waiting for them to open. Well, that was that, we all had to get out of our cars then! I was 5th in line and when they opened the doors at 1000 I went straight to the Outwell area with my trolley at the ready.
The staff had been really smart, and had gotten 10 x trolleys inside before opening, and packaged up 10 of the Nevada M kits with all the 4 bits, and also stuck a huge red "sale" label on them. So, we grabbed the second trolley and that was that! All done! I went to queue up and the manager said he couldn't serve us until 1030, I said I knew that but I didn't want to be 11th in the queue when the tills opened, and miss out on the deal. He said "not possible, there's only 10 of the tents out on the floor, so if you've got one in your trolley you've got the deal". Woohoo!
I then went over to the running gear area to browse for 30 mins before the tills opened and ended up buying £70 with of running gear, but oh well never mind, what a fantastic bargain for the tent package!
Really easy to grab a deal, and very pleased I went out.

my OH went to the Gloucester Go at 09.30am, loads already there. Didnt manage to bag the Nevada, he was really cheesed off as a family of 4 (2 adult kids) all grabbed one trolley each and bought 4 of the 10 all going through the till seperately.

He wad 4 th in line but we only just got one due too lots of pushing and shoving and rather underhand tactics!! They did not have enough extensions though so we will still get one free but at a later date. Really pleased !!! Sure some were just buying to eBay though :(

Sounds like that was due to the management of the queue. At GO Coventry, the manager had a system to ensure that the first people in the queue got what they had queued for. See this forum post for details.

Managed to get one also, from the Loughboro store... Was utter carnage tho when the doors opened, only one Nevada was trolleyed, the rest were all in a big dumper mixed in with Carolina's.. Was a bit of a scrum, but somehow managed to get one... There was a big queue - some had queue'd from 7:30am... Not me - I arrived about 9:20 and was 25/30 ish down the queue.. Was really lucky to bag the Nevada... Was meant to be! I just dipped my hand in the box and pulled out a tent - it was next to Carolina's, but once I'd managed to lift it, it had Nevada on the bag. Joy!
It was a little more chilled out at the Oxford store by the sounds of it. I got there at 09:45 and there were only 5 or 6 other cars already there. The store opened at 10 and only a few more people had arrived by then. Those who had got there at that time got the Nevada without a problem. Almost everyone picked up the EHU RCD too. By 10:30 all the Nevada's had certainly gone as I heard people being told whilst I was in the queue. Hardly surprising - it was an amazing deal!
But as we drove away at 10:45 ish, the car park was PACKED. Obviously people had just decided to pitch up when the store opened at 10:30.

I think anyone is free to buy and sell whatever they like but it would be nicer to think that someone who loves camping got the benefit of the discount.
Yes,I know buying to resell is not a crime but in an ideal world it would be good, as RubyT says to think that someone who loves camping got the benefit of the discount.
So I still hope no-one bids on it!!

We bought it for our sister who's old tent deperately need replacing. She hasn't actually seen it, so in the unlikely event she doesn't like it (I can't imagine why not!) then our fallback would be to Ebay it.
Somehow though I don't think that'll be necessary, as I think she'll find it ideal!
