Does anyone have an ultracamp tent, if so, what sort and what do you think? I got the Asquith 4 last year and went all over the place with all types of weather and had no problems.

I've not heard of it, and I'm a bit of a tent nerd so thats unusual for me. Have you got a link to it?
If it's anything along the lines of Leben, Rage and Skandika tents, then it's not going to be good. So, does this mean you're on the look out for a replacement?
If it is one of those tents, they're notorious for not having enough guy ropes on them, which makes them unstable in the wind. It might be fine for good weather camping only, but in this country you can never trust the weather.
The Ultracamp Asquith Tent is fab - I should know, I own one and cannot quite understand the previous comments by someone who has never even heard of it! The lady who posted the original comment (Anna C) said that she has the Asquith Tent also and is pleased with it as she went all over in it in all types of weather with no problems - sounds good to me! I have read a review on ukcampsite.co.uk for this tent as well - which is also a very good recommendation. For the money, you get a good reliable tent which does not break the bank. The previous self proclaimed 'tent nerd' admitted to not ever having heard of Ultracamp yet felt that he was in a position to comment on it! Hmmm!
Harry, i think you may have misread Victoria's post, she does not say anything about the ultracamp tent as such, she did say that if they were the same as the other tents she mentioned then the quality would not be that good, which i agree with.
I have only ever seen the Ultracamp tents on the internet and the prices seem very low to me for what you get, which would cause me concern until i have actually seen one in the flesh. but as i have not seen one in the flesh so to speak i cannot comment.

Not my cup of tea, but if its does what it says on the tin, who am I to criticize. (Not bad for 50 quid though)
Looks like it would be a great festival tent. Theres a few healthy reviews on ukcampsite too.
I did however have a similar tent to the churchill 9 man and it was without any shadow of a doubt the worst tent I've ever owned. I got 3 replacements in a fortnight and then a full refund it was so bad. It leaked, the pegs that clipped the sleep pods were missing, it had 4 guylines for a 3 pod tent that was it. We ended up in a pool of water in it one morning.

Although must agree the tent seems a good buy compared to others in the same price range

Yes the Asquith 4 is quite breathable, we've never had any problems anyway . For what I paid for it and what it gets used for, I think its a good tent.
