Ok not the sharpest knife in the box. So what did I do. I brought a tent from an auction. You know what it's like, Who will give me a few bob for this tent in a bag. I had a looked at it, and it's not as if you can unpack the thing and put it up. Best you can do is unzip the carry bag, Look in side, Un zip, bit of rummeging and zip up. So up come's the auctionery, Lot numer come's under the hammer. Just me an some other guy in a flat cap. Think's he's a trader. So what ever he is going to pay it must be worth a bit more, If he is going to resale it. So the hammer came down to me at 16. So I'm now a proud owner of a sixten pound tent. So what have I got, It's an Outdoor Revolution VRX 400. So where's my problem. No matter where I look I can't find any one who has one or any infirmsion about one.

I just put it up in the front garden. To more or less see what I have. Any one can help me.

Not sure what you are looking for in the way of information.

I have bought many tents from auction sight unseen. The outcome has ranged from virtually brand new to virtually a collection of holes & poles. On the whole I have done extremely well out of them and used "auction"tents camping in UK belgium Italy and Croatia. France including mont blanc.

Use your best judgement based on what you can see and its usually worth a punt at around a tenner.

I don't see why it's 'doing your head in'.

You paid £16 for the tent - barely more than you'd pay for a night's pitch fee, barely enough to buy you a beer and a pizza.

It the tent incomplete? Is it torn or are the poles broken? If not, I'd say you got a bargain

Hope you enjoy splendid camping in the tent.

It's similar in style to the vango venture, no longer made. Well done, lovely tent. I really like the dark colour, should help with the odd sleep in.

The tent is complet. Nothing missing, if any thing a few extra ground peg's. It look's to me as if it's next to new. In the way that the inner is seperated from the outer. Most people pack it up with the inner stil atached. make's it easer and quicker to put up next time. And some of the guide rope's are still wraped as the maker's pack a new tent. Not left lose and bundled in to the tent.
