1) flysheet pole clips: should these be clipped onto the poles above or below a pole joint (the wider silver ferrule)...? The location didn't seem naturally consistent on my first pitch.
2) extension: am unsure whether the (drip) flaps around the bottom of the extension itself should go inside or outside..? The 2011 comes with a fitted groundsheet, but bearing in mind this is pegged at each corner how will this work if the flaps go inside !
3) guys on main tent that are located inside the extension: how do you peg these, if you do at all !
Excellent tentage by the way :-)

1) Pole clips should clip on to the pole not the metal ferule. Depending on the position of the clip and the ferule this could be above or below.
2) Drip / storm flaps should be outside the extension to allow water to drain away from the tent. If they are tucked in they will allow water inside the extension.
3) when the extension is in use these guylines should not be used. The guylines on the other parts of the tent will maintain tension on the tent. ( if you were to use these guylines they would eat in to your usable space an be a trip hazard.

To be honest. having the flaps outside the tent looks quite messy, and doesn't work quite right due to position of the anchoring straps. Next time I may try positioning them inside, with the groundsheet over the top and somehow pegged in the corners.

I believe it is its just the colour change for 2011
I've had a look at a few sellers websites now and it seems a fair bit bigger, I have the 2010 one and to be honest it is a little disappointing. The poles in the new one appear to be fibreglass, whereas the 2010 model has steel poles. I just need to find the dimensions, I can't believe that Vango don't have this info on their own website.
