Hello all, Do anyone have or had a tesco 4 berth hexagonal first-up dome tent year 2004. if yes i really hope you can help me, This is for a friend who was given it with no instructions. I'm usually very good and have a nac at putting up most types of tents however this tent uses a strange type of plastic device that you have to slot the tent rods onto, well as you can imagine it's taken 5 hours out the frount trying every way poss to get the thing up Even though the tent itself say's up in under 4 minuites lol. Do anyone have any advise to offer me as i'm now desperate and getting slightly irritated lol thanks everyone.

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
I know it's a few years old but I would still try Tesco customer services on the off chance they have a copy they could post or email you. If not, check all over really closely for a manufacturers stamp, mark or tag and then see if they have a website.
It's probably really simple and you might be just putting the plastic bracket the wrong way or upside down, if you could post a photo on here of what you have especially that plastic piece somebody might be able to help.
Obzi, Thankyou for your reply, Rang tesco customer service just before i put a message on here, They were helpful i must say as they did try and retrieve information on the product for me, as the tent bag itself had a barcode on it, Tesco's said that the product had been discontinued a few years ago along with any information for it, they told me that it was manufactured in china and that is all the info they could offer. Seem's kinda crazy to me that a company as big as tesco's put there stamp on a product as a garentee to customers that there buying a quality product and that if there was a problem with an item it could get sorted out. I think it's madness that they dont store information on all tent's they sell for atleast say 10 years, either for sale or discontinued as when you set out to buy a tent you have intensions of it lasting you approx 5-10 years, so if this is the case i think they have a responsibility to keep all records for the customers that buy there product's. Awww listen to me having a rant lol, thanks again for your help and advise it's very much appreciated.
