Does anyone know if the Vango extension tunnel for Tigris 600/800 will fit my Vango icarus 500? I have the laurel/meadow colour and since they brought out the new colour (Moss) this year it has been really hard to get the sun canopy for my tent
The Tigris extension looks about right but wanted to check if anyone else has used them.

Hiya and welcome to the forum. Have a look at my gallery pic's, you'll see a 10' laurel/meadow Icarus 500 with a Premium Extension. These are like hens teeth now, sometimes cropping up second hand on eBay. an alternative is to go for the new 2011 'moss' green dedicated vango icarus canopy, but the two greens will clash. If you can live with it, then that's the one to go for.
Hi Victoria, thanks for getting back to me. I think your Icarus looks great with the premium extension but as you say these are also hard to get your hands on.
I really don't think I could live with the moss colour, it would be too much of a clash. I think I will just have to be patient and wait for one to come up on eBay :)
Hello, I purchased an Icarus 500 earlier this year off Ebay and it came with the Universal Large Canopy, it didn't fit properly so I resold it and purchased the specific canopy for the Icarus 500 and it fits a treat.
I struggled to find as we also have the Laurel colour and I didn't particularly want a blue one, one but after much internet searching and ringing around I found one in a camping shop in Norwich which they posted to me.
Keep searching and you may find one, also have a look at a thread I started also about the Icarus canopies, I had lots of good information and pictures sent which helped me decide.

The 2010 Laurel canopies are getting hard to find now, plenty of blue ones about but take shellys advise and buy an Icarus specific canopy for the best fit
The "Tunnel" canopy/extension wont fit its for the side of the tent
