We currently own a Vango Albany 600 which we have had a few years but after a very wet and windy week in North Wales the canopy collapsed and the living area groundsheet has started letting water in through the seam. I would appreciate any ideas on what to buy next. I dont want a seperate canopy but do want a porch to sit in at night that can be zipped up if the weather turns bad and we can cook in. I would need at least 6 berth and like the look of the vango marista but i need one that is proved watertight as it will be a long term tent. Any ideas most welcome as the search now begins.

Thanks

Have you attempted to seal the seams with "seam sealer"? It may just save you a few bob.

Am sure there will be alot of ideas popping up...have you looked at the outwell vermount (not sure on spelling, lol)looks large and has good reviews,we have outwell utah 6 which is now discontinued but they have lots of large tents out this year and there are still large tents kicking around from last year...I suppose it depends on your budget..Hope you find what your looking for.

Hi Bexsox

How about the Kampa Croyde 6?

6 berth and built in porch and is (i think?) a bit cheaper than the Vango Marista.

Here are the reviews, most seem very pleased

Hope this helps
