There's a review here that says both doors have hoods - There are a few reviews of the tent in the 'Tent Review' section so hopefully someone who actually has the tent will be along shortly!
Edit
I see that herby59 has confirmed there's only one - So ignore the above! It does seem that, for such expensive items, tent are generally very poorly/ambigously described. For example, from the Coleman website:
"The Mackenzie Cabin features a rain protection peak over the side door; pole-tensioned fabric provides a porch area over the doors to prevent rain from entering the tent on entry and exit."
The first sentence mentions 'door' but the second says 'doors' so even the manufacturer doesn't make it clear!

Hi, arsenaldes.... well , I think it does matter if you have the side extension. If the hood were on both sides , you could fit the extension on either side , giving 'choices'. Being able to choose which side is handy when you first pitch , relative to where the sun will be , privacy , prevailing wind direction, or another family tent or even where the main bedroom end will be relative to early morning sunshine etc. Having been camping for more than 40 years I prefer to sleep at the shady side of the tent * if possible * . I prefer my main door to be pointing north * if possible * OK , I know some campers arn't bothered at all. I have seen them before that pitch any way round , whatever way it goes up , that how they put it ! We had lots of ammusement watching a new-to-camping couple who pitched their tent very close to another tent , leaving the only space left for their car at the back of their tent. They spent a whole 2 weeks walking all the way round their tent and windbreak to and from the car. They only had a small tent so kept a lot of stuff in the car. Anyway ... back on subject ... It seems the 'stock' photo's always show the side extension over the left door and I think thats the one with the rain hood. I don't know YET if the side extension can be fitted over the other door ( non-hood side ). I will try it and see when it all arrives after Easter. For ... trevor1578... thanks for those tips ... It's appreciated.
------------- Camping to the ex.tent that I like awnings as a bit on the side.
