I keep reading how versatile the Monty is, and how you can have it as big or small as you need, and, as I've never seen one up, I can't understand how this works.
Are there optional parts that can be put up? I'm not talking about canopies etc, just the std tent.

We have the montana 6, can't imagine what people mean by that other than buying the extra extension or awning? The sleeping area can be used as two 3man or one large 6man area. I can highly reccommend it, got ours last year and went away for 10 nights, can't wait to use it again this year!...Our local Go outdoors has one up, worth a look if you have one near you!

thanks lindsey, that's what I thought. Still seems like a great tent for us, though. Saadly we have no Go Outdoors near us, and nowhere nearby that has a display of decent tents
HI there, we have the monty and when I say that I mean we have the tent the awning and the extension, if we are on a site where we have a large pitch we can have the tent, extension and now awning or just the tent and awning or just the tent. For instance on a haven site we can only use the tent but we can do that because our extension is not attached but when we go to Dalby we can have the tent hopefully the awning and the extension on making it massive and giving us loadsa room, we are not confined to not being able to go places because its too big but can extend it on the larger pitches. I am pretty excited about our awning next week i know we can have that as I saw a monty with awning on on the site im just hoping we can put the extension on aswell just coz we can hehehehe !!!
