Anyone tried or want to try one of the new inflatable tent from Vango (or another brand for that matter). Instead of inserting poles you just inflate them. This tent is not cheap either but will give you an idea what I am on about.
I think we are one of the very lucky ones in our tent having minor faults which should not be present on such an expensive tent. There is even a video on You Tube, showing how badly one tent leaked in the rain!
I think there are more negative reports and reviews on this site (ours included), than positive reviews.
I have been in touch with Vango on several occasions, and they are monitoring the reviews and comments with interest.
I have been told that several dealers are no longer taking deposits from people who want these tents. That may be because of supply problems.....but then again, it may be because of the large number of faulty tents being returned for either repair or refund.
If you stay at a reputable camp site, then there's no more likelihood of a fellow camper deflating the tent tubes, then there is of someone either cutting guy ropes, pulling up tent pegs, sneaking into a tent whilst out etc.
Serious, fellow campers surely wouldn't dream of doing something as childish/immature surely?
