I love the Hi gear voyager 6, but the 2011 model has 2 seperate bedrooms.  You can't fit 2 single beds in the small room or a 140cm double! Does anyone know if you can fit in a double and 2 singles into the large bedroom?  We are 2 adults and 2 children! Don't know why they changed the design from the 2010 model - am cross with myself for not buying then!!  Any advise or recommendations gratefully received!!

Having a quick look, it would appear the 2 bedrooms together are approximately 360cm across the tent (the tent's external measurement is 380cm) meaning they are allowing just 60cm per person (based on their claims that this tent sleeps 6!)
Based on this, the tent is giving you a maximum of 240cm wide in the large pod and 120cm in the smaller one.

You will need to look at mats rather than airbeds in order to fit 4 people in the larger bedroom. Even then, it would be very cramped for 2 adults and 2 children.

My 4 berth tent is 280cm wide (internal) and this is comfortable for 3 - would never want to squeeze 4 people in there!

Thanks Helen

That's very useful to hear.  How annoying - don't the designers at Hi gear have children!!!
