Yes, I own the XL shelter as shown in your pic, but in blue as its for the beach.
Not used in anger yet, but "pitched" it to check it out and its up to the normal good standards of a Quechua. Bear in mind it hasnt got taped seams though as its not designed as a real tent as such. It also folds away in a slightly different manner to other Quechua;s but just as easily.

I am camping on my own on a slope in wet and windy Dorset. I got my two base seconds up no trouble. Family were expected for one night on Friday so while the weather was calm I got the base XL up on my own as well (I am 62 and very creaky). We decided to leave it up as they will be returning for another night on wednesday. Saturday night was very very windy and last night was very very wet. All three quechuas have survived brilliantly and I am very comfortable in my 'pod'.
I hope Quechua replace the base seconds with bedroom inner with something similar because it is perfect for single people or groups who want separate bedrooms but don't want a massive tent.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
