Hi there folks,
This is my first post and I would like some advice please? I am finally on the verge of purchasing our very first tent for our first camping trip with the family. I really like all the options that the Hartford XL offers, as I'm no good at travelling light and we will need the storage space, but is there much difference between the Hartford XL and the Ottawa 800 other than price?

I noticed that Ottawa has a lower hydrostatic head but are there any other major differences and will any of the accessories fit?

Can't see any major differences apart from HH as you say, and price.

Ottawa does get good reviews on the Argos site, but do they still sell it anywhere? It's discontinued on their site

I noticed that I couldn't find any details of that model on the Outwell site, but it was 58% off the RRP in Argos so I bought it today. It arrives on Monday, I'm so excited. My husband is relieved, I've talked about nothing else for the last few weeks.
All I'm hoping for now is a fair weekend, and we'll be off on our first adventure.

Same tent, slightly lower spec as it's made to hit a price point. All the Hartford accessories will fit. Good buy.
