I am just looking to see if anyone has any easy solutions to re-packing a Maritsa 700 back into it's bag? We have just embarked on our first camping trip and it rained the day we came home so the tent was hastily rolled up and put in the back of the car knowing we had to air it out before packing it away until it's next use. On our 2nd attempt we managed to get tent and sleeping pods into the bag but it took time trying to get it as flat as possible!
So is there any video/link on line that I am unaware of to look at (I have tried googling but with no success).
Would be very grateful for any help.
btw, tent was brilliant, loads of space for four of us, although we need more practice pitching as we couldn't get the inner door on the porch to close, which when it was windy let in quite a draft, but I am sure with more practice it will work fine next time!
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
We also have a Maritsa 700, once you have done all the folds and ready to roll up the tent, get someone to roll on it from the bedroom end to the porch end, (like a rolling pin) this will get most of the air out, and make it easy to roll up tight, and fit back into the bag. This is a great thing for the kids to do as they love it.
I think the inner door on the porch not closing may be due to the tent poles not quite right, we took a while getting it right, we tend to put up the tent then prior to pegging it out close all the doors up and open them a few times while making sure its right.
I have not found any video links either.
Have fun and enjoy your next trip.

2013 Nothing as yet , trying to get new boyfriend to go camping soon. Selling Maritisa 700 , so we can put it towards a VW Camper.
I had the same problem(with an icarus tho) til someone showed me how, i lay the tent bag at one end of the tent and keep folding it lengthways until its the same length as the bag, then just rolled it up as tight as possible ( with the doors open to let the air out as you roll), when i got the knack of it it now goes in with room to spare
Regarding the inner door, did you have the zips shut when you pitched?, because that sometimes stops them from shutting properly.
