 Hi Von,

If there is anything we can help you with, Please ask, only too willing to help.

If your buying now or later, there are some good bargains around, even better in a month or so.

Andy & Linda.

There's another post on here saying that the Montana canopy has been discontinued and that a retailer said they would not be able to get hold of any more. I have the Vermont L with Monty canopy (without sides) and they work well together, I wouldn't want the Vermont without the canopy though as it's invaluable in the rain. When considering the Vermont remember there are different sizes with 2 or 3 bedrooms and not all the Monty extras fit the bigger Vermont.

There are good discounts to be had on the Outwell stuff as there's a big shakeup next year with new lines, or you might want to wait and see the new stuff but be prepared for a price hike.

 Hi Mussels,

yes you are right about a retailer saying that from previous post.

But I'm a little sceptical about this, as it was from GO outdoors sales man.

So i suppose if you were thinking about getting one, now is the time, if this IS true.

Also , as you say Montana canopy only fits the Vermont L, not the XL.

Andy.

Hi vonc,

Amazon do them, but OOS at the moment.

But do a Double.

I don't think you will be disappointed with the Vermont L.

As for the Satellite system, we have a great system from:-

http://www.aerialshack.com/portable-satellite-easy-find-receiver-triax-54cm-dish-p-1345.html

Really pleased with it,set up is a doddle.

I can give you a web site that will make setting up  so easy.

Andy.

Thanks Andy

I will take a look...our son works for Sky !! He says he is having an outdoor lounge...Ive seen the double settee...someone says it is low and have trouble getting up off the floor ..lol ! I will take a look at your system...not really planning on watching TV but handy to have .. When we have got the whole kit I will put pics on here....sounds like we will be competing for poshest tent ...

Thanks

Von

 Hi vonc,

must admit, your right about trying to get up from the chairs, It's my age.lol

We are away in an hour to the Dordogne for 3 weeks, but I'm taking my net-book so i can stay in touch with the world.

As your son works for sky, he should advise you on what to get.

Another great site I have found is:-

http://www.dishpointer.com/

and:-  http://www.satelliteforcaravans.co.uk/index.htm

Happy hunting.

Andy

Hi Von,

Thanks Von,

well it's 65c in our tent and the last 2 days have been wonderful.

Rained during the night though, but at least it cools things down.

Anyway ,speak on my return.
