Hi,
I'm thinking of getting one now they are coming down in price. I have been using a Coastline 4 Deluxe for my big tent, but it is hard work getting the poles through on your own. Does anyone know if the poles on the cabin are easier to fit? I've been looking at photos, but can't work out how the poles go together as they don't seem to have corner brackets (like the Lakeside--which looks very easy to assemble)... I don't really want a Lakeside, though, as you can't get a separate porch for it and the cabin has an insect mesh.

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes

New! Please upload a photo of your tent to the Tent Showcase!

Hi,

The MC4 is very easy to set up. When I pitch the tent alone it wil take me just 10 / 15 minutes to set it up completley.

The sleeves for the poles are only stiched to the roof so there is no bending of poles in the sleeves (like the coastline).

one pole consists out of three parts: a slightley cuvred pole for the roof and two standing poles for the sides. first atach the slightley curved pole in the sleeve on the roof and then atach the standing poles.

Thanks vaderabraham,
That's a great help! It sounds perfect to be honest. I loved the Coastline, but it was hard work on my own. Being able to just put a pole through a sleeve on the top sounds like complete luxury ))
Many thanks again; I'll look forward to trying it out.
Rich.
