I remember someone mention they made a porch out of an old canvas tent and wondered if there are any good pics of it?
I have a relum canaria 3 which although I feel too good to adapt I may be tempted if I can see how it will look or how do I go about putting it up for swaps? Ideally I'd love it to go to someone who will use it in exchange for a tent with missing/damaged poles or canvas damaged in an area that wouldn't matter if converting it to a porch.

We've made a "canopy to go with out bell tent with some king poles, tarp, guy lines and some special tarp clips. We were looking at buying a malu but just couldn't justify the money.
the clips are the key to making it work! We clip one over the a frame and then one each corner, plus one in the middle at the other side. once erected, it looks a bit like a dutch nun! but works an absolute treat. We used to have a green gazebo but it really didn't go with a bell tent lol. our "canopy cost about £30 to make and I'm now on the lookout for suitable canvas to make a canvas canopy.
