Is seam sealer PVA glue? I know there are different dilutions for different purposes but is it? my brother has loads of the stuff so seems daft of me to buy a small 60ml bottle if it's the same stuff.

Thanks for the response, searching the net there appears to be two types of sealer one silicone based and the other water based hence thinking PVA. Think I need to find out what is used on my tent first. I have also read you can use clear bathroom silicone sealant thinned with mineral spirits although the mixing is a task in itself.
