Don't know about De Waard, however, one can easily import a Hypercamp tent except bell tents from Obelink into the UK, as I had done so with my Escala 4 last October.

Hi
Thanks for that. How many are there in your tent? is there enough room for 2 adults and 2 children? And is there an electric entry point? Sorry so many questions!
The Escala inners 2x 145x210cm so it should sleep up to 4 persons if you use airbeds of 70cm. There is no special electric entry point but since it has a ZIG, you can put your cable in where the zippers start (at the back of the tent)
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
hi
Thank you for response, just one more q! Does the tarp fit on to the front of the tent? We're going to the tarn gorges by Millau so will need some shade!
Well, since the TC tarp is 375cm and the eyelets are placed left, right and in the middle, there is a small change the eyelets will fit right on top of the pole-pins. But i dont know for sure. You can always pitch the tarp in front of the tent, or you can buy some of these extra eyelets:
My double air bed would fit one side of the inner tent with hardly any room around it.
2 double air beds would fit in the inner tent, however, there won't be any space left for storing luggage etc...
With regard to electric entry point, one can either bring it in via the the back of the tent where the two zips start, or via the side where the front panel and ZIG zips meet.
I prefer to bring it in via the back of the tent, as I believe that is neater. However, one would need to do that BEFORE the zips are done up, as the connector is too big to go through the hole where the two zips meet.
As for compatibility with the Hypercamp 3m x 3m tarp, I have not used the tarp I bought at the same time as the tent yet, so I cannot comment.
