Late last year the OH told me she wanted to go on holiday under canvas. I looked into tents that were around and chose the Carolina M.
Over the past few months we have been gathering all the bits needed for camping, soon we found out that the tent on its own would not be enough. First I looked into a side extention, the outwell one had no door so would not be of much use so I have chosen the Gelert Horison 6 side extention, the reviews on the forum say this is a good fit.
There never was an end extention made for the Carolina, now the Carolina has been discontinued there never will be an end extention. Not to be stoped by this information I started looking for alternatives I did find an outwell that others had found fitted but to my dismay that tent line has been discontinued as well, I could probably find the one that was used on eBay or amazon. I have instead desired to see if one out of outwells latest range fits, after some careful measurements of the Carolina I looked at all of the options, the birdland 3 looks like it fits the bill most closely in height width and shape.
Does anyone else have any comments.

I too have the Carolina M and like others on here use the Gelert Horizon side extension.

Yup that's the side porch we've got, I hope to have some pictures and a in garden review end of next week.
An end porch or canopy for the Carolina M is what I am interested in opinions on.

I took the plunge and bought the birdland 3 extention.
Going to do a home pitch this weekend with a sleep over if posable. Wish me luck.
