Hi have lost my tent pegs for my troutlake tent and canopy could anyone tell me how many pegs i need for both tent and front canopy,to save me unpacking same,many thanks

Mmmm, quite a tricky one. Best thing to do is look on the reviews section and look at all the photos, there are some with the extension on. Try and count and then add a few spare. I've had a quick look and I would say its at least 30. I would buy 40 to be on the safe side, and its wise to carry spares anyway. I've dropped on a few pitches with rock hard ground and ruined many pegs!!!

Aha, I too lost my whole bag of trout lake pegs. I contacted the store where I bought the tent (HM Camping, Herne Bay) to ask about a new set and they sent me a whole new bag of pegs for free...with loads of spares. No idea how many pegs there are I'm afraid (they're in the attic currently or i would have counted for you) but I do have my brand new 'cant wait to try it' front extension still in its bag and just counted 28 pegs in it which i expect will include spares. I'd agree with above post, you'll probably use at least 40. But suggest you contact your local Outwell retailer, I'm sure they could advise....

At least you've realised they're missing - I didn't realise until camping destination was reached, car was unloaded and and tent was laid out ready for pitching...
