Hi,
Got the vango orchy 500 in green. Its 3 or 4 years old now and I would like to get an extension for it rather than buy a new tent. I can't find it anywhere probably obsolete now. Can find a blue one but would make tent look awful. Could anyone advise if any other type of extension fits the 500. Preferably in green,sage,or laurel.

I have a feeling that when Vango released their "Premium extension" they advertised it as fitting the Orchy 500 so you may find one of these on Ebay

Hi, I bought the Vango Orchy 500 tent in blue a few weeks ago and 2 weeks ago bought the premium extension from JR Leisure. At the time of buying he asked which colour I wanted so maybe he has the green one in as well. At the time of buying the tent they asked if we wanted it in green or blue as they had both. It is worth a try at the Leicester branch, the website is only showing the blue one though. I mentioned about reading on here and that they were in demand and difficult to get hold off. He replied that they had bought them all. So i think they would be your best bet or be able to advise on alternatives. Good Luck
Nearly new tents on eBay often has things for older tents and seems to get stock in quite regularly. You could keep an eye on them and see of they get any in (they only have blue just now)
They have a universal front canopy that fits in green just now if you don't need a front on it.

Hi, I've got the extension in green. Got it last year but looking to upgrade to a bigger tent this year so it's no longer needed. I bought the Orchy 500 about 3 years ago in the Ocean colour (blue/green) but that colour had been discontinued so had to get the green. The pole configuration at the front was changed slightly in the newer version of the Orchy so you don't get an exact fit, but it still gives you a good space for storage etc so you can keep the main tent dry and tidy. Where abouts are you? Would you be interested in buying it?
I am also after a premium extension, but they are so rare, even on Ebay. Does anyone know of a suitable alternative... I was wondering if one of the other vango extensions would fit. Has anyone had any luck? I have a green 2009 Orchy 500... so the alternative suggested would need to fit this....
Oh and if neither of the two posters that have already expressed an interest in your extension (Iwantabiggertent) some through, then please consider me!! (I appreciate I am 3rd in line!!).

camperhavo - I've not received a reply from the previous poster so it's still available. I'm in North Devon and don't really want to post it as it's too heavy, but you're welcome to collect or arrange a courier. Not sure how much to ask for it either! It cost me £90 new last year and has only been used once so I'm open to offers. Let me know if you're still interested.
