Hi, Having spent a fortune on a Vango Samara 600 tent plus footprint groundsheet, carpet etc just 8 months ago, we have just tried to purchase the canopy extension for it, only to find that Vango aren't making it in the True Navy this year, only Moss Green! We are pretty frustrated as we got a 2011 model tent and you would kind of hope to be able to 'upgrade' it with things like the canopy extension while it is still less than a year old! Vango haven't been at all helpful, basically saying tough luck! If anyone comes across a supplier ANYWHERE which still has this item in stock, we would love to know! Thanks everyone!

I think you may of rang me while the Vango guys were with me... It is a pain when this happens but a little heads up for 2013, I think Vango will only be making their tents in one colour, im not saying there wont be a few colours but say they make the Samara next year it will only be in one colour but the Maritsa might come in a different colour but again it will only be in the one colour...
Not sure what these colours will be so if people need any tent accessories in the Moss or True Navy then jump on them now.
Thanks Gary ... Am thinking our only option is going to be a two tone effect! True Navy tent with Moss canopy! Will look stupid but not sure we have a choice! Wouldn't mind if our tent was an old model but it's less than a year old! Thanks again. Sarah.
Well we ordered the canopy and paid for it only to have a e-mail a couple of days later notifying us of a refund due to nil stocks, so back to square one!!!
Hi no worries, just got very excited for a while but I think we have to accept that we shall not get a canopy, unless we go for the Moss canopy but worried it may look stupid!!!
I wanted a side canopy to fit mine, so after talking to the local camping shop man (who kindly measured it up for me) i've taken a chance and bought the Astoria front canopy http://www.vango.co.uk/canopies/astoria-600-front-canopy.html this is also made in true navy so could be an option for you.
I've only done a quick garden pitch to try it out and it looks like it will fit ok (not perfect) but I'm going away 17th June so will try it out properly then to see how well it really fits and let you know.

Hi Tas67, we have had some recent interaction (by email) with Vango regarding the Astoria extension on the side of the samara 600 and can forward the emails to you, as you may find the info useful for your forthcoming trip. Let us know if you would like the emails forwarded. Regards, Keith & Sarah.
